Obama: All of Our Decisions Have Been Correct

by Stephan Tawney on October 19, 2011

This will come back to bite him in the ass.

“I guarantee it’s going to be a close election [in 2012] because the economy is not where it wants to be and, even though I believe all the choices we’ve made have been the right ones, we’re still going through difficult circumstances,” the president said.

Oh, really? So your decision to invest hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars in Solyndra was the right choice? And you administration’s decision to sell assault rifles to Mexican drug cartels, ending in American bloodshed, that was the right choice, too? How about your $820 billion stimulus boondoggle, which you later admitted was a failure? And the decision to order Gimto closed by 2010, when it’s in fact still open today, that was correct too, right?

What about the decision to ram government-run health care down the throats of Americans despite their staunch opposition? That one cost your party control of the House and underlying elements of the law have been ruled unconstitutional by multiple federal courts. But never mind that, how about the CLASS Act, which your own administration admits is a fiscal boondoggle that can’t be implemented?

So apparently the current state of the country is exactly what Barack Obama wanted. I mean, he says he doesn’t regret a single decision over the past few years. And now he’s asking for voters to give him another four years to keep making the same awful decisions. How about “no”.
