She originally survived but was in coma and reportedly brain dead. Unfortunately, this awful saga has come to its dreaded end: The little girl has passed away.
(CNN) — A 2-year-old Chinese girl — who was ignored after being hit by two cars last week, later sparking a fierce debate about the state of China’s morals — has died, a nurse at a military hospital said.
Wang Yue died about 12:32 a.m. Friday, according to a nurse in the intensive care unit at Guangzhou Military Hospital, in Guangzhou. The nurse would not give her name, a common practice in such situations.
Video captured by a nearby security camera showed a pair of drivers, one after the other, hitting Yue, in Foshan in Guangdong Province. More than a dozen people walked, cycled or drove past the toddler as she lay bleeding in a busy market.
The girl was eventually rescued by a 58-year-old scavenger, who pulled her aside and tried to get help.
She arrived at the hospital in critical condition and there was little hope for recovery, but this is no less awful of an outcome. Behold the morals of a collectivist, socialist society — someone else will surely help her, so why should I? You’re now witnessing the system that’s supposed to be more humane than capitalism.
We’ll occasionally get a story like that here, too, but never this awful and senseless. There’s a child laying in the street dying. No one risked life or limb helping her, no one had to do anything other than pick her up and call for help. Bu t instead more than a dozen bystanders ignore her. What a God-awful story.

Beyond economical consideration there’s real people working and living like slaves, to make other people richer than they already are… Ask yourself if you’re sharing the same value with this people,

I am just totally appalled on this issue. However, what do you expect when they have no regards to animals, dogs, and cats. What kind of people are they? These people have no feelings for human life…… I agree with Eliot….. I certainly do not share the same value with these kind of people.

Welcome to the communist system and human by-products thereof.
You think communism is merely a political ideology? WRONG. It can and does shape a culture and very neurological make up of those who lather under such a system of rule. Communism churns out apathetic, un-empathetic automatons–this is the very subtext of the system. The flow-on results of which can be seen in such examples as the mass female abortions / abandonment / murder under the One Child Policy and this idictable incident here (which too was a female, incidentlly).
The West’s hunger for cheap shít products, their GREED, has given China the economic clout now to stand firm in their deluded way of thinking.
Pray they do not become the next superpower.
