Guy in his mom’s basement warns: I’ll arrest every Oakland police officer, declare war

by Stephan Tawney on October 26, 2011

This guy is serious. He honestly thinks he can arrest police officers — all of them, at that — for enforcing the law in a way he doesn’t like.

And if they continue to enforce the law? Why, he’ll declare war. Which should be fun, because the president has the constitutional power to call in the military to put down an insurrection. And I’m pretty sure governors can do the same using the National Guard. So…good times to be had by all.

I hope to God this guy is actually a fantastic parodist, because if he’s serious we’re talking historic levels of delusion. He sits in his mother’s basement under the illusion that an entire police force will cower under his threat to take his set of handcuffs — which he knows how to use! — and arrest all of them for enforcing the law. Again, a little prayer this guy is a parodist.
