An absolutely brutal campaign video from the Republican National Committee.

Barack Obama made the mistake of doing three things: 1) Saying during the last campaign that if policies aren’t working that we need a change in leadership; 2) Saying in the early stages of his presidency that he’d be a one-term president if things didn’t look better in three years; and 3) Admitting on camera that people aren’t better off now than before his presidency.

This new ad from the RNC combines video clips of all three events, pieces them together, and makes Obama eat his words and harm his own candidacy. If the committee keeps up these ads through next November, Obama will be toast. Burnt toast. Toast so burnt even moderate Democrats will throw him aside. Like I said, absolutely brutal.

My only criticism? The music needs to be quieter and the quotes/narration. At times you can’t hear what’s being said over the music, and that gets distracting. So the committee needs to work on its sound mixing. But content wise it’s excellent.
