While MF Global was being driven into the ground and $1.2 billion of investor funds were disappearing, the company’s top guy — former Governor Jon Corzine (D-NJ) — was donating more than $1 million to the Democratic National Committee.

Records show the central committee of the Democratic Party received $1,814,200 from Corzine. Other recipients include Barack Obama (more than $9,000), the DCCC ($130,000), New York Congressman Charlie Rangel ($4,500), and New Jersey Congressman Rush Holt ($9,300).

The Democratic Party was being infused with donations from Corzine while he was driving MF Global into the ground and “losing” $1.2 billion, which no one seems to be able to find to this day. And yet something tells me Democrats will be keeping their dirty money.
