We can’t afford to keep employing the people protecting our country and actually carrying out constitutional responsibilities of the federal government. We’ll just have to do without them.

But those countless tax collectors, welfare distributors, and other paper-pushing bureaucrats? WE CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT THEM. Even think about touching them and Obama will attack you as hating the middle class.

This is a perfect snapshot of the Obama Administration. Fire soldiers, hire bureaucrats. Shrink the military, expand the bureaucracies. Lay off the people carrying out constitutional responsibilities, bring on people to enforce unconstitutional laws.

The only government jobs liberals ever cut are in the military. Perhaps because its ranks are more likely to be Independents or Republicans than Democrats? Whereas they go on hiring sprees of government bureaucrats, whose ranks tend to be dominated by Democrats.
