Obama: I’m Arguably More Successful than Lincoln, FDR

by Stephan Tawney on December 13, 2011

Bwahahahahahahahaha…..

President Obama suggested, during his recent CBS interview, that his domestic and foreign policy achievements over his first term surpass any other United States president, “with the possible exceptions” of Presidents Lincoln, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Lyndon Johnson.

“I would put our legislative and foreign policy accomplishments in our first two years against any president — with the possible exceptions of Johnson, F.D.R., and Lincoln,” Obama told Steve Kroft, “just in terms of what we’ve gotten done in modern history.”

The man has absolutely no modesty or shame.

Yeah, Barack, your first two years consisting of wildly unpopular health care reform, major losses in the midterm elections, and failed economic recovery legislation have gone wonderfully.

You’re so much more accomplished than Abraham Lincoln and Franklin Roosevelt. In Lincoln’s first term he saved the union. In FDR’s first term he implemented the New Deal (which Obama thinks worked), initiated the Good Neighbor Policy, and oversaw the repeal of Prohibition.

But you have totally been more successful than either man.

There, now that we’ve stroked your ego can you go away?
