No, Wal-Mart hasn’t stopped selling ammunition

It’s important to debunk this one because we don’t want to hurt retailers who stand firm by the Second Amendment. So here it is:

Wal-Mart never stopped selling ammunition, and reports to the contrary were either uninformed or deceitful.

CNSNews.com reported Monday that Walmart had suspended further ammunition orders until the findings of the Biden gun-control task force are released.

To set the record straight: Walmart tells CNSNews.com that the store’s ammunition policy has not changed.

“We continue to offer that product to our customers and you know, we’ll continue to do so,” Kory Lundberg, a Walmart spokesman, told us on Tuesday. “We haven’t made any changes in the product mix in that category.”

Walmart continues to stock and sell ammo in its stores, he confirmed.

Is it true Wal-Marts in parts of the country have empty shelves where ammo used to be stocked? Yes. But that’s because people bought up all their inventory. They’re temporarily out of stock. But they haven’t stopped ordering and selling.

Wal-Mart has no plans to cave to the gun-grabbers. So let’s stop this rumor that they’ve abandoned the Second Amendment. They haven’t.
