Biden: These new gun control laws won’t stop future mass shootings
Facing growing public skepticism over Second Amendment-infringing gun control proposals, Vice President Joe Biden now admits the Democratic proposals won’t actually stop future mass shootings.
“Nothing we’re going to do is going to fundamentally alter or eliminate the possibility of another mass shooting or guarantee that we will bring gun deaths down to 1,000 a year from what it is now,” Biden told reporters Thursday afternoon after he spent over an hour lunching with Democratic senators at the Capitol.
Biden continues to insist that the proposals, which infringe on the right of the people to keep and bear arms, somehow don’t violate the Second Amendment — which, of course, prohibits the government from infringing on the right of the people to keep and bear arms.
So basically we’re going to infringe upon American freedoms to achieve, as Biden admits…nothing. It’s all liberal feel-good crap that will achieve nothing.
