2. January 2010

In yet another sign that Iraq has been stabilized and the war there is winding down, no American soldiers lost their lives in the country during the month of December. Iraqi death totals have also decreased to the lowest level since 2003. There’s no indication that the positive trend will stop.
There were those who said [...]

Newsweek: Obama Had Pre-Christmas Briefing About Threats to Homeland

2. January 2010

How ironic. Remember when the left crucified George W. Bush because his administration was warned of unspecific threats to the homeland from aircraft before 9/11? And, lacking telepathic abilities, he wasn’t able to prevent the attacks? Yeah….
Turns out that Barack Obama was told just days before Christmas that there was a significant threat of a [...]

The woman is either:

Too incompetent to understand “the system” failed miserably, or
Lying through her teeth

Either way, she shouldn’t be serving as Secretary of Homeland Security.
Anyone who believes (or simply says) that an international terrorist managing to smuggle high-explosives aboard a commercial aircraft, his attack only thwarted by a failed detonator and Dutch passenger, proves that [...]

Clearly. We had an individual known for his extremist ties, an individual on a terrorist watch list, given permission to board an international, U.S.-bound flight wearing explosive underwear. The only reason his terror attack failed was because of a faulty detonator and vigilant passengers. Oh, and his father happened to notify the federal government about [...]

Nebraska is home to just one military installation, Offutt Air Force Base near Omaha. The base is home to US Strategic Command, which is responsible for missile defense, combating WMDs, gathering information, space operations, and much more. Clearly it’s an important installation for the United States.
But word comes today that Congressional Democrats are desperate enough [...]
