The sad thing about Obama’s failure to unite the country is that it was predictable long before he was elected. He was known to have extremely out-of-mainstream views. He was not known for his ability to find common ground with those with other political views, whether prolife, pro-marriage, or pro-capitalism. He was doomed to fail at the job of uniting the nation.

The prosecution’s entire case is circumstantial. As Alan Dershowitz said, nothing in the charging document contradicted what the defense claimed.

Just because Martin is dead doesn’t mean Zimmerman committed 2nd degree murder. The mere fact someone’s dead doesn’t make someone else, even his shooter, guilty of murder. The justice system doesn’t work that way.

You can’t prove how Martin’s knuckles were injured because you don’t know what happened, who attacked whom, or whether Zimmerman was killing in cold blood or acting in self defense. As a juror obligated to only convict if Zimmerman is proven guilty of 2nd degree murder beyond a reasonable doubt, you’d have to acquit. Because as you admit, you’ll never know what actually happened.

Increasingly the evidence is she used her alleged ancestry to secure positions and impress her colleagues. This wasn’t cultural or ancestral pride. It was relying on family legend and claims of minority status to gain the advantage on people just as qualified academically but who weren’t shameless enough to find 1/32nd minority in their bloodline and call themselves a minority.

I hope it’s not criminal now to mention remote American Indian ancestry that you can’t firmly document. My family had a story like that for years, and a few years ago we got confirmation from an older family member. Maybe it’s sad that in our culture it’s somehow better not to have to say just ‘Caucasian’ when asked about our race, but doesn’t that make magnifying the minority races in our family trees understandable?

This is a story of a man who took to violence to get this young man to conform to be the image of Romney thinks he should look like. Actually, @dagny, the Post DID state that he came out to his family. I am curious what’s inaccurate in the article – they do portray him as something like a restless vagabond, but it sounds like he led a pretty interesting life, touring with the Royal Lippizoner Stallions (after dressage lesson in England), working as a chef on freighters and fishing trawlers, then in Bosnia (for civilian contractors) and Iraq. Kept his hair bleached the rest of his life too.

So Slow Joe shoots his mouth off, literally about gay marraige. Barry is then forced to reveal his support for gay marraige, which we’ve known all along. The gay community quits donating to the dems, claiming dropping DADT and DOMA isn’t enough, so the dems throw them a bone w/this story. I am in favor of civil unions, but this last 72 hour news cycle is being driven the militant gay agenda. Nice fold dems.

Wait…. Saul Alinsky and Bill Ayers are ancient history, but this is relevant?
And there’s a guy out there who claims Obama is a bisexual, is that relevant?

It doesn’t make any difference anyway, what percentage of the gay population is going to vote for Romney anyway? and the majority of gays live in cities that are in the bag for Obama.

What this does demonstrate however, is that they have to go back to high school and dig up some “he said she said” BS …. and if that’s the paradigm, Obama’s team is in trouble.
